The Mask Cressi The quantum is the evolution of the brand's existing Evo Big Eyes Cressi. What. Characterised by an optimal visibility with a weight of 160g and an interior volume of 115cm3. It includes major innovations listed and explained below.
- No fog system: The main innovation of the mask is that it prevents fogging thanks to the internal thermoregulation of the warm, moist air coming out of the nose. The air is channeled through the system of membranes that are located around the nose and eyes and they divert the flow, preventing hot exhaled air from directly entering the glass. In addition, the outer part of the skirt incorporates two heat exchangers which act as radiators, causing the inside temperature of the mask to drop, approaching the outside temperature, and the micro droplets of moisture adhere before air reaches the lenses.
- The lenses are not chemically treated and it is advisable, as with all masks, to treat the lenses with Prenofog or toothpaste to remove accumulations on the glass after manufacture.
- New flexible and stable facial. The outer lip of the facial in contact with the face has a decreasing thickness that improves fit and maintains comfort during use. The lower watertight zone has been reworked to prevent infiltration.
- Mounting. What. The reduced frame structure allows a great approximation to the glass without problems of contact with the frame. The 15° slanted and extended glasses above the cheekbones (Big Eyes system) increase the lower visibility by more than 30% compared to a traditional mask, while the upper and lateral visibility are increased to the limit allowed by the thickness of the mount itself.
- Other. What. Buckles fully pivoting in all directions and attached to the mount by means of a flexible and unbreakable elastomer. The strain of the strip acts directly on the mount, maintaining the stability of the mask and bringing the glass as close as possible to the eyes. The anchoring of the buckle system in the mount prevents the deformation of the silicone facial during the use of the mask (proper of the models that anchor the buckles in the facial itself) and the strain of the strip is produced aligned to the plane of the glass, optimizing to the user's liking the level of proximity of the glass / eye and, therefore, the volume and optimal visibility of the mask.
